Description
Student Open Day in Rolous Village
On Sunday, December 2023, our organisation, Roots Cambodia, organised a small lunch and a series of presentations for the end of this year’s semester. With a view to next year’s enrolment, a formal gathering of 80 current students, potential students, and their parents have been invited to enjoy the day and display their children’s interest alongside the community’s teachers.
Here, we are collecting donations for the day. The items must be purchased mainly centred around stationary and books for the semester(s)ahead.
During the day, students from past semesters will conduct presentations of their learning experiences during the year, and these presentations will focus not only on the benefits and support but also on some of the challenges they may have faced during the previous terms.
All students and prospective students will receive a small token gift (relevant to their academic studies) as a takeaway from the day.
Outstanding students from each age group during the past year will be named and presented with a little extra for their studies and general conduct.
The new term at the education centre in Rolous starts in January 2024.
As the event is only a short while away, we are eager for valued donations for this cause and to continue our traction within the student community. We are looking to reach 300 US dollars for the event. If you can help us with this
expansion of trust within the community, we welcome your contribution!
Please use the Donation button to lend a helping hand.
Many thanks
Roots Cambodia Organisation.
