Our Rural Children

Education in rural Cambodia faces numerous challenges, including distance, poverty, a lack of materials, and high dropout rates. Many rural children leave school by grade 6 for several reasons:

– Poverty: Many need to assist with farming or take care of younger siblings.
– Lack of transportation: Schools are often located far away.
– Early marriage for girls: This also contributes to dropout rates.

Despite these obstacles, we aim to provide more opportunities for our children to learn, fostering hope and resilience. Community efforts are playing a vital role in transforming lives through education and empowerment.
